MauiWine Private Tour of the Hula Circle by Tim Garcia

Experience the picturesque beauty of MauiWine and Ulupalakua Vineyards with this exclusive package. Surrounded by rolling green hills and crisp mountain air, Maui Artist Tim Garcia will provide a personalized and inspiring tour of his Hula Circle tree sculptures (10 pieces, up to 8' tall, Italian Cypress). This is the perfect Upcountry day for four (4) guests ages 21+.  The Hui will organize a table at MauiWine's King's Cottage and a tasting flight of estate wines from Ulupalakua Vineyards and charcuterie board for four (4) (value $150) during MauiWine's normal business hours. Winners must contact the Hui to schedule a date at least two weeks in advance.

Tour of the Hawai`i Land Trust's Waihe'e Coastal Dunes Area

Please join us for a fun and interesting huaka`i maka`ika`i (pleasant excursion) for no more than 5 participants around the Hawaii Land Trust's (HILT) Waihe'e Coastal Dunes and Wetlands Refuge. Led by HILT's Director of Aina Stewardship, Dr. Scott Fisher, this three hour easy walk will take you into the heart of coastal Waihe`e where you'll learn about the natural and cultural history of this wahi pana (storied land), including mo`olelo (legends) of the goddesses Kihawahine and Haumea, and chiefs Hua a Pohukaina, Ke`eaumoku and Kamehamehanui. Participants can tailor the hike to suit their own interests (e.g. photography, coastal beach scenes, cultural history, botany, biology, paleoecology, etc.).

SMALL TOWN * BIG ART Wailuku Public Art Tour for 4 guests

We welcome you and 3 guests to join team members of the SMALL TOWN * BIG ART creative placemaking project for an intimate walk-story of its public art collection along the streets of Wailuku Town. Featuring murals, sculptures and experiential installations, each work of art is created in collaboration with community stakeholders and inspired by a proverb from Mary Kawena Pukui's ‘Ōlelo No‘eau: Hawaiian Proverbs and Political Sayings; selected in partnership with Hale Hō‘ike‘ike at the Bailey House/ Maui Historical Society.
